A typical day at FLFC starts at 10 am and finishes at 5pm. Our days are filled with fun fashion experiences as per below, and punctuated by lunch around 1 pm.
On Thursday evening we all go out for a meal together and a bit of London fun! The evening activity finishes at 8:30 pm on Thursday.
Here’s what the ACTIVITIES look like at FLFC!
London Baby - Zipping around London to see the fashion hot spots and get accustomed to life in the big city, while setting the scene for the week's activities.
What's hot, what's not – Meet the lovely Lucinda Lovelace, freelance image consultant. Lucinda will tell us about her career path, and just like Trinny and Susannah will give us a tip or two on how to best dress to impress.
Drawing in Style - Learn how to do basic fashion drawings with London fashion illustrator Tiphaine de Bodman (from Paul Smith and Alexander McQueen!) and present your own catwalk drawings to the group.
Don't be Greedy - Ethical trade and sustainable fabrics. Meet an eco-fashion designer and find out how fashion affects our environment and discover London’s coolest green fashion trends!
Trend ahead - Visit the head-quarters of the world's leading trend prediction company and meet a few fashion journalists and trend researchers. They'll give us an overview of how they predict the future and show us what the plan is for next season.
High Street Frenzy - Meet Rachel Dennis, fashion designer at Wallis, one of our favourite high street store and learn more about the ins and outs of high street fashion.
Knit One, Purl One - Designer Cheryl Hird, owner of Chezzle, will help us brush up on your knitting skills while learning a thing or two about her career.
Sharing the passion – Meet Selina Law, an accomplished textile designer with a passion for sharing. Find out more about her path and how she discovered all about teaching others.
Thrifty Nifty - Dressing well doesn't have to cost a mint. How to be fashionable on the cheap including a tour of London's best shabby chic shops...learn to spot a fashion treasure!
Shop like a Celebrity – Meet a stylist to a star and find out how she gets inspiration to dress the celebrity for the catwalk. And learn a few tips on how to find your own individual style!
Creative bubble – Visit one of London’s most prestigious fashion universities and find out more on what really happens there.
Get intimate – Meet one of London's lingerie designer and find out more about her success!
